On the December 9 mid-season cliffhanger, we’ll finally get to see Michael Trevino‘s character Tyler transform into a werewolf. “It’s gonna really shake up the world of Damon specifically, and our vampires in general, with the werewolf being their natural enemy” Executive Producer Julie Plec told EW. “It’s gonna start a new chapter of our show.” The juicier part? He won’t be alone. “Tyler won’t be the only werewolf in Mystic Falls by the time we get into the New Year.”

Now on to the teen angsty stuff that really keeps us coming back for more. Are Tyler and Caroline (Candice Accola) developing a forbidden werewolf/vampire romance? Read on to find out!

I'm really into this show... So GOOD!!! And the love triangle brewing up between these two characters is getting intense! Gahhhh I LOVE GREAT T.V. DRAMA =)
