I finally got my camera back from TK (thanks again homie for dropping it off at the studio)!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!! There was soooooooooooooooooo many pics from Vanessa's bday. OMG I had to delete so many of them coz they needed deleting, nuff said! hahaha.... a mess! But after that I was still left with 140+ pics. Fuck we love our photoshoots. There's a vid of us singing the longest "Happy Birthday" to Vanessa.. but its taking too long to load so here r some pics from that night. Enjoy. Lunch was fulfilling... Teriyaki Chicken, Rice & Mac Salad. Now Im topping it off with my Pepperidge Farm Geneva cookies <3 Okay so I totally expect to get in trouble for not showing up to Masterclass last night.. omg... I think 8 ppl on CS actually took class. Me, Distance & Jessica went to the green room to hang out til class ended. Jess was studying and me and Distance were just chopping it up.. then Jerome walks in and says he is teaching Omeed MPC in studio 3. So Im like "yea we should go in there and practice..." Bad idea. We should've signed in at the front and sat our asses in the green room, coz David Henry was in 3 w/ Rachael choreographing. Basically, he shouldnt have seen us NOT in MC. Yikes! I have no excuse other than, I just didnt want to take that class... that's so bad as a dancer in training... Im having slight regret pains. So David wrote down a list of everyone that didnt take class. Which will probably end up in front of Sherman tonight. Our punishment last night? To drill down MPC like 5 times in a row. TIRING, but I LOOOOVVVVEEEE that piece so honestly it didnt bother me. (FLASHBACK: That is EXACTLY what I had to do my very first reh, my very first year on CSSD. The first CS piece I ever learned... drilled.. they would call ppl to sit down that did it right. Everyone else? Again and again until u got called to sit down. The catch? Nobody told you what the hell you were doing wrong!! You had to figure it out while the rest of your team - which, at that time consisted of iconic dancers like Julie,Sammie,Jazmyne,Samath,Rainen,Kevin Brewer,Eddie G.,Darkie, u get the point- sat against the mirrors watching you in hopes that you'd figure it out soon. I almost passed out that rehearsal!!) If we get into a lot of trouble Im not necessarily going to be pissed, but so far this year other dancers have done far worse than missing a masterclass!! LATE for rehearsals, LATE for show call times, NOT showing up to tech and not calling anyone to let them know they were late or lost or whatever the heck was thier excuse!! I mean, forreals?! Im ready for the heat but none of these ppl got even a slap on the wrist for that shit. I guess we'll see tonight...
