I was on track, or so I thought. Looking back, I can now see that you didn’t tilt my axis in the devastating fashion I had initially thought. Granted, you did jilt me out of orbit, but you did so gently, from a place filled with love. More importantly, your efforts shifted me into my own proper alignment, releasing me from my rotational tether and granting me free reign of the constellations, the galaxies—the beauty I never would have known had you not blazed through my corner of the universe. So what do I think now that I’ve thoroughly indulged my soul? I believe the lines of your face and body to be remarkable, your company most splendid, and your love incomparable. Join me, darling—let’s write our name in the stars and cause an uproar.
