I dont have cable so I totally missed out on watching the VMA's last night. But I do have the internet, lol. The performances are all I really wanted to see... you can always read about the winners.

Madonna couldn't have said it ALL more eloquoently and more EXACT. MJ may you always RIP. And I hope you are smiling at ALL that your talents and LOVE for your craft & this WORLD has done and will continue to do after your passing.

The Michael Jackson Tribute medley - I was speechless and in tears. I watched in on youtube at home last night and cried. I watched it again now at work and cried all over again. To know that one person created all this... so inspiring, so unique, so innovative, so passionate and above all else so extremely TALENTED beyond his years. Beyond any of our years. I miss him even tho I obviously don't know him personally. But my childhood and my adolescent years and now all my years to come have him in it. Thank you GOD for sending such an angel to us.

Janet Jackson - moving. I cant even imagine what was going thru that womans head & heart to be able to do that performance last night. With the world watching & expecting. She brought that ish beyond anything I could've expected Imma tell you that much. You whip that hair girl... I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE JANET JACKSON!!!!! Such a genius idea to do SCREAM the way they did. They had Tina Langdon & Chris Judd up there, what?!!! Fucking siiiiiiiick! I still have goosebumps just thinking about it.

Beyonce: Good LAWD woman... that gyrating hip action and that strut.. A true performer. I loved it!!! Its like watching someone transform on stage. She is AMAZING. Handle it Jay-Z!! And above all that, the woman has class. Bringing Taylor Swift back on stage like that... def applaudable!

Still have yet to watch Alicia Keys' performance... I'll get to that soon =)

Here's to the beginning of a busy week... work work work & Culture Shock... crap. I just remembered I have a performance tonight at the Bitter End. Industry and Locals night.. come thru everyone!!!
